Scope
This is an English translation of our Privacy Policy, provided for your convenience. The original Japanese version is available at プライバシーポリシー (Japanese).
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how the mobile applications (the "App") provided by Kuchibashisoft ("we," "us," or "our") handle users' information. The information collected and the external services used may differ from app to app; this Policy sets out our handling practices common to the apps we provide.
Information We Collect
Information you enter or register
In apps that have account registration and login features, and only where you use those features, we may collect the following information. Apps without such features do not collect this information.
- Email address
- Account information such as user ID and display name
- If you use external login (Google, Apple, etc.), the authentication information provided by that provider
Information entered into and sent by generative AI features
In apps where you can enter text in features such as conversations, the text you enter is sent to and processed by an external generative AI service in order to generate a response (see "03 External Services We Use" for details). In-app data necessary for generation, such as the game's progress, is also sent. This does not include personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
Information collected through inquiries, etc.
When you make an inquiry or report a problem, we collect your email address and the information contained in your inquiry.
Billing and purchase information
In apps that offer in-app purchases, we may collect purchase history (such as purchase date and time, product ID, transaction ID, receipt/purchase token). Payment information such as credit card numbers is processed by the Google or Apple store and is not received by us.
Automatically collected information
When you use the App, the following information may be automatically collected and recorded:
- Device information (OS type and version, device model, language settings, etc.)
- Identifiers such as advertising identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA)
- In apps that send push notifications, the token used to send notifications
- App usage (interaction events, session duration, screen navigation, etc.)
- App operation logs and crash/error diagnostic information
- Approximate regional information (estimated from your IP address)
External Services We Use
The App may use external services to provide features and improve quality. The services used differ from app to app, and the App may use any or some of the following. Some of the information described above is collected and processed through each service.
To display advertisements within the app, it collects and uses advertising identifiers and information about your device and usage. Provider: Google LLC.
To understand how the App is used and help improve its quality, it analyzes usage events, device information, and the like. Provider: Google LLC.
To generate in-game narration and dialogue, the game's progress (in-app data such as scenes and character names) and text you enter in conversation features are sent to and processed by a generative AI service. The information sent does not include personally identifying information such as your name or email address. Provider: Google LLC and others.
To find and fix problems in the App, it collects diagnostic information at the time of a crash (such as the device state and error details). Provider: Google LLC.
To create and authenticate accounts, it processes email addresses and authentication information. If you use login with a Google account or Apple ID, authentication is performed through those companies' services. Providers: Google LLC / Apple Inc. and others.
To deliver announcements and the like, it processes a token used for notifications. Provider: Google LLC.
To store and synchronize app data, we may use cloud infrastructure such as Firebase (Cloud Firestore, etc.). Provider: Google LLC and others.
To process in-app purchases, we use the billing system of Google Play or the App Store. Providers: Google LLC / Apple Inc.

How We Use Information
We use the information we collect within the scope of the following purposes:
- To provide the App's features and to authenticate and manage accounts
- To generate text content such as narration and dialogue
- To process purchases, such as in-app purchases
- To deliver announcements and push notifications
- To maintain and improve the quality and convenience of the App
- To investigate and fix problems and ensure stable operation
- To display and deliver advertisements
- To respond to user inquiries
- To comply with laws and to protect rights, property, and safety
Sharing with Third Parties
We may share the information we collect with external service providers in the following cases. In each case, this is limited to the purposes stated in this Policy.
Outsourcing / processing by external services
To provide features such as analytics, crash diagnostics, authentication, data storage, notifications, and content generation, we may entrust the processing of information to, or provide it to, the providers listed in "03 External Services We Use." These providers handle information in accordance with their own privacy policies and their contracts with us.
Collection by advertising providers
In apps that display advertising, advertising providers (such as Google AdMob) may collect information such as advertising identifiers in order to display and measure advertisements.
Processing by stores and login providers
If you use in-app purchases or login with an external account, companies such as Google and Apple handle information in accordance with their own privacy policies when you use their respective services (billing in the store, authentication with their accounts).
Provision other than the above
Except where required by law or necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a user, we do not provide the collected information to third parties other than as described above. We do not sell users' personal information.
Advertising
In apps that display advertising, we display advertisements via Google AdMob. Advertisements may be personalized according to your interests.
You can disable personalized advertising and the use of advertising identifiers, or reset your advertising identifier, from your device settings.
- iOS: In the App Tracking Transparency dialog shown at first launch, choose "Ask App Not to Track," or change it under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: From the Google / ads-related items in your device Settings, you can disable ad personalization or reset your advertising ID (the exact location varies by device and OS version).
Data Storage & International Transfers
Information collected through the external services used by the App is stored and processed on the servers of each service provider. The main transfer destination is the United States, where Google LLC and Apple Inc. are located. These businesses handle information with appropriate safeguards in accordance with their privacy policies and contractual measures such as standard contractual clauses.
For details on the personal data protection regimes of the destination countries and the protective measures taken by each company, please see the policies of each company listed in "03 External Services We Use." By using the App and external services, you acknowledge in advance that such transfers abroad (including to the United States) may occur.
Retention & Deletion
We take necessary and appropriate measures to safely manage the collected information, including preventing leakage, loss, and damage. We retain collected information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of use or the period required by law, and we delete it by an appropriate method when it is no longer needed. The retention period of information stored on external services follows the settings and policies of each service.

Your Rights
You may request, with respect to your own personal information that we hold, notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction/addition/deletion, suspension of use/erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties. Users residing in certain regions, such as the European Economic Area and the UK, or the U.S. state of California, may have the additional rights set out in the following sections.
Users in the EEA & UK (GDPR)
Users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK may be subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR). In that case, the controller of personal data under this Policy is us (Kuchibashisoft).
Legal bases for processing
We process personal data on one of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (to provide the App's features and accounts)
- Your consent (for personalized advertising and certain optional features; where applicable, you may withdraw consent at any time)
- Our legitimate interests (handling problems, ensuring safety, improving quality, etc.)
- Compliance with legal obligations
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent with respect to your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country or region.

Voluntariness of providing data / automated decision-making
Some information, such as account information, is necessary to provide the relevant feature, and if you do not provide it, you may not be able to use that feature. Provision of other information is voluntary. We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
Representative / Data Protection Officer
We are a sole proprietor and have not, at present, appointed an EU/UK representative or a Data Protection Officer (DPO). Inquiries and the exercise of rights regarding this section are handled through the contact in "14 Contact" below.
California Residents (CCPA)
Users residing in the U.S. state of California may be subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA). The categories of personal information we collect, the purposes of use, and the recipients of sharing are as described in the sections of this Policy.
We do not sell users' personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. However, in displaying personalized advertising, advertising identifiers and the like may be shared with advertising providers, which may constitute a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out of such "sale"/"share" (stop personalized advertising) through the device settings described in "06 Advertising" above (iOS tracking permission, Android ad settings).

The App is not primarily intended for children under the age of 13 (or under the age defined in your region). We may change this Policy as necessary. The revised content takes effect when posted on this page. If we make an important change, we will notify you appropriately within the App or on this website.
